it is no secret easton had a hard time adjusting to 3K. i was uneasy about sending him to 4K but after chatting with the older kids former 4K teacher, she assured me it would do just fine. here is easton on day 4 – not clung to a teacher, joining in and by the looks of it…happy! our goodbyes each morning may be a bit emotional, but this made me relieved.

today was a good day.

we walked. we fed the ducks at the lake. we did a practice drop off at easton’s new school. we went to the pool and played basketball. we played ‘tenzies‘ (and i won the championship!!) we ate our favorite burgers and custard and we ended the night relaxing and reading first day of school stories to easton. the best days are the unplanned days.
we rented this tonight and strolled the lakefront.
